"Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. "

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine.
Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church.

Excellent communication from host.
Absolutely wonderful to have been given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom lodge.
Bedroom beautifully decorated with swan towels and rose petals - superb touch, along with anniversary banner on the door - thanks you.
The lodge was clean cosy and home from home.
Amazing views from the hot tub which was clean and covered with a veranda and fairy lights which made it perfect to relax.
Would 100% recommend to anyone...

"Really nice clean room and the staff were more than helpful and friendly however the food was unfortunately a disappointment with the rib eye steak being of poor quality, the onion rings being undercooked and the mushrooms being cold. The wait for food was also longer than expected. "
