"The property is very dated outside. Balcony railings were in need of new paint. Some room interiors have been renovated with paint and new flooring. Our room was clean when we arrived, except for the wet washcloth that was pushed way back under the bathroom sink. Not a biggie to us. The tub had no rails, or grab bars, and the tub floor was slippery. Hot water in the bathroom was quick, and plentiful. "Hideaway Bay is a great little spot. We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage itself was very clean and nice. The beach is quite rocky so you need shoes to walk around and for the water (especially for little kids). It was great to have access to loungers and umbrellas. The beach bar was delivered food and drinks right to you on the beach, I would suggest putting side tables with the beach furniture so people have a place to put their drink down.
