"Room had a mildew/mold smell. Bathroom door didn’t close showed drain missing ended up getting sick while there I’m sure it was due to the mildew smell etc will not be visiting here again"

"The staff were very nice and professional. No problems there. The hotel as a whole is a little run down. Exercise room leaves A LOT to be desired. Tread mill didn’t work and the elliptical trainer is about to fall apart — it’s in terrible shape. The room was adequate. Bathroom is very dark, hard to put makeup on. And no exhaust fan. The AC worked great. Love a cool room to sleep in. Bed was comfortable."

"Loud music and people hanging out in the parking lot after 10pm. Police came after they left. Around 11:00 it all started again, waking us up. Front desk said they would call police but loud music just kept going. I went outside out of bed and confronted a kid in his car and he yelled obscenities at me and accused me of not asking politely for him to turn off the music. I told him most people were trying to sleep and he didn't seem to understand what I meant. Terrible night's sleep in a really comfy room. (One other thing, there was a dirty brown towel hanging from the bathroom door)"

"The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute. The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean. There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether. The staff was friendly and helpful."
