"This hotel is so convenient to Bergen attractions. It was so easy to do a morning activity and come back to the hotel before setting off in the afternoon for something else. The staff was very helpful and always so friendly. The included breakfast was the best of my trip through Norway. My only complaint is that the rooms facing the square or the adjacent street were noisy. I would recommend requesting an inside room and not on these noisy streets."

Instead of telling us this, they made up a story about how there was a booking error and showed us a conference room with no bathroom or door that would lock with a single bed on the middle of the room. We protested and after much discussion they arranged a room at a hotel across town that was a significant downgrade. No ride was offered, we were told to walk 15 minutes in the rain, late at night. "This apartment was perfect in every way! It was about 10 minute walk to the light rail station, the bus station, and the main train station. Its less than 15 minutes walk to the waterfront area which has all the main tourist attractions. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I was in the ground floor two bedroom apartment. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet and walkable. There is a grocery store and a convenience store within a couple of blocks. It has washer and dryer, full kitchen,...

"Location is very convenient, room is nice but lots of issues : 1)- thermostat doesn’t work well, room either too hot or too cold. Notify staff and nothing was done. 2)- Mirror in bathroom if too dark and not useable. 3)- Staff on weekend has no knowledge of anything else except checking in and our for guests. 4)- Breakfast is nice but eating in the dark and low ceiling basement is not a way to start your day. 5)- management is completely out of touch on the weekend."
