"Hospitality and restaurants were on strike for the duration of our stay, but the stay present were all very helpful and available. The only thing we noticed were that the hallways could have a better hoovering. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have even known they were short staffed. The street noise can be loud but they provide earplugs. "Location is very convenient, room is nice but lots of issues : 1)- thermostat doesn’t work well, room either too hot or too cold. Notify staff and nothing was done. 2)- Mirror in bathroom if too dark and not useable. 3)- Staff on weekend has no knowledge of anything else except checking in and our for guests. 4)- Breakfast is nice but eating in the dark and low ceiling basement is not a way to start your day. 5)- management is completely out of touch on the weekend."

"Location was wonderful and the hosts were helpful when checking in. It was clean and ammenities worked well. The linens were clean, but we had put the bed together which was strange. The photos do not show that you may get a different apartment than pictured."

"Overall the property was clean, but not a great hotel if you have issues with stairs. They gave us a room that you could only get to by stairs (full disclosure, they did carry our bags to and from the room) but you had a flight a stairs just to get to the main lobby. Would not recommend the hotel if you are older. Restaurant where breakfast was at was beautiful, but some items on the buffet were ice cold."

"The room was basically good and the hotel is in a great location. On our arrival we found two problems - first, the sliding door to the bathroom was off its rails and stuck open. We had to wait till the following day for it to be fixed. The whole door arrangement cheapened the look of what was otherwise a comfortable room. The second problem was the shower faucet. "This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for myself, my husband and our grown daughter. Great restaurants, delicious coffee and beautiful parks all within easy walking distance. Proximity to the university gave the neighborhood a fun vibe. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The apartment is in a great location to explore Bergen from with the main high street 5-10 minutes walk, the Fishmarket 10-15 and Bryggen around 20 minutes walking. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby along with the mandatory 7-11 on most corners. The property had everything we needed for the time we were there and was very well equipped, very clean and spacious inside. "First time to Bergen and this was a prime location for everything! Beautiful scenery from my room, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Room was very clean but also a little too warm. Thank god the windows opened a little for a breeze. Would definitely stay here again! One suggestion would be to make breakfast free like all other hotels I stayed at in Norway."
