"Das Bodmi is a beautiful hotel, with excellent views both from the dining terrace and from each room's balcony. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is ample and satisfying and the staff are very friendly. The only thing you need to know before booking is- as with most places in Switzerland, there is no AC. You will have to sleep with windows open which can create a need to interact with other guests who may ask you to quiet down or whom you may ask to quiet down. This happened to us, but was not a big deal. More important to know, this hotel is not "in town", it is a 10 minute or so walk down into town and a serious climb back out. There is a bus, but it stops at 7 so you cannot have a late night in Grindelvald unless you are in good shape to walk back up the hill. - It worked for us because we were looking for quiet...if you are hoping to hop between hotel and town several times a day, it might now work so well. We would stay there again for sure!"
