"Stayed at The Read House Hotel and had a great overall experience. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The common areas were inviting with nice private nooks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern but the shower design did get the floor wet easily.
The bed was comfortable, but there were no extra linens for the pull out. When we called, they only brought a sheet and couldn’t find a blanket. The pool was clean and nice, but not heated (personal preference) and the waterfall made it pretty loud.
Overall, I’d stay again!"

"The hotel is a bit rough. It’s fairly clean, but showing a lot of wear. Our room was okay. The ceiling in the shower looked a bit mildewy. We found a washcloth dried up in the shower and one of the pillows smelled as if it hadn’t been changed. We arrived pretty late and were heading out early so I didn ’t bother complaining. In the morning, I dropped off my keys. The receptionist asked for our room number and I mentioned the room condition. No apology or anything. Just a smirk and a, “I’ll let them know”. I took that as, nothing will change.
I have booked this hotel several times for my husband when he travels for work, but this will be our last stay. "
