This is a 3 star hotel, not the 4. Hallway cleanliness was below 4 star expectations. Our shower had black mold in the grout. Mold was also where we had to hang the towels on the hooks on the wall. Room was beautiful and has an insane view of the city. Beach was right next to the hotel; and the outdoor pool was literally the best I've seen anywhere. Breakfast buffet is to die for as well. I can strong recommend it to anyone visiting Rio.

Lagune Barra Hotel
Their breakfast is amazing. Though, location is far from everything but safety is top tier. Very clean and rooftop pool is gorgeous. It gets very loud so I hope the facility will implement curfew for it’s guests so other people don’t get bothered.
