As a US citizen, I thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that the hotel had to offer. The staff was excellent. I bought a breakfast package and it was extremely nourishing. The hotel front desk assisted me with getting a cab therefore I felt very safe moving around the city. I will return.

It's a comfortable hotel, very friendly people, and always helpful. A little far from the center but still good. Clean, room, quiet, it feels a little dated but nothing terrible.

I have a no fee foreign exchange credit card so I should have been able to pay in pesos to my credit card, but this is the only place in Mexico where the credit card machine forced you to go through the Mexican bank to do the exchange and then their bank charged what they wanted to my card in Canadian. No way around it. It cost me an extra 330 pesos or 25 CDN for the 2 nights stay. Their bank is raking in the exchange fee money. As far as the hotel and staff I was very happy with.

I asked the front desk to change me to a different bedroom twice because the first two the lock on the door was broken and in the one that I ended up staying from the floor in the bathroom came water every time that the toilet it was flushed. But the breakfast was AMAZING!
