"We had a wonderful stay here! The location is convenient for winery hopping in the Douro Valley and the view into the valley is spectacular. It is very near a little town (Armamar) that had several delicious restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their wine tasting with the cheese/charcuterie platter accompaniment - it was the perfect way to start our stay in the Douro when we checked in!"

The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning service that made our stay even more comfortable. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature and peaceful countryside, with lovely farm animals adding to the charm. "We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh rolls, homemade jam, and lemonade. A place to return to!"
