"We saved so much by staying at the Ryu Guest House instead of a Marriot or Holiday Inn. It was like apartment studio living abroad in Sinsadong, Gangnam, Seoul, SK. Everything was walking distance to Metro, Food, Groceries (CU Market), Bars (Kompact Record Bar), Coffee Houses (Milestone) and Garosugil (Trendy Area). We felt very safe as well. "Snowflower Guesthouse had a good location, near stores, restaurants, subway, and bus stops. It was very accessible to central Seoul. The room was just enough for a solo traveler. The place is quiet. The bed was very comfortable and this was the best that I slept in the past 2 weeks of traveling. The owner was very nice and he provides a lot of free food (eggs, bread, soft drinks, noodles) during your stay."

"Room was quite small--luckily we travel light (just carryon luggage) and there were two of us in a three person room, so we could use single bed as a storage area. Very limited shelf or hanging space. Sign in bathroom asked us not to flush toilet paper, just put it in a lidded waste can. They told us they had problems with toilet clogging, but we had no problem. Breakfast was toast, hard boiled egg, cold cereal of two types, coffee, tea orange drink. Staff friendly and helpful. "Place is right below olive young!! So i did some major skin care shopping . Myeongdong night market every night from 5-10pm. Shopping and restaurants tons to do. Isaac toast best lunch ever! Location is what you paid for this place. Im solo traveller, i had the two twin bedroom with private washroom of my own. So it was enough space for me. This room perfect for solo traveller, it might be hard for a family though. Breakfast is boring but i dont eat breakfast. However, isaac toast is 1 min...

"Good location, easy to walk to many places, close to buses and really close to subway Great communication with host Common room at reception with little kitchen, lockers Dorm was nice, with lockers, but there are no fitted sheet, only a felty blanket so it moves when you sleep and it is wayyyy too warm for a lot of people. It would be nice to have regulars sheets + the blanket, as there was no way to open the AC or turn the heat down, so it was too warm."

"I really liked my time here. The couple that run the guesthouse are very friendly and their English was good. I felt cared for :) The room was small but functional. While the bed was hard, after a long day of exploring the city it didn’t really matter. Breakfast consisted of toast, cereal, juice and coffee. I think this was perfect. It was also nice to interact with other people staying at the guesthouse. The rooms are not very soundproofed but if you wear earplugs this doesn’t really matter....

Not fancy but they did have free breakfasts. Our room was clean with free washing machines just out the door from our room. We would recommend and would use again. "

"Excellent property with large suites especially for Seoul. The location could not be better in the heart of Insadong. Traveled as a family of 4 with two children aged 9 & 11 and booked a two bedroom suite. Safe, clean, great gym, clean, great staff, and large pool. The Korean BBQ restaurant downstairs was really good as well. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Location was convenient, room was nice. Not super spacious but well situated and stocked. Very comfortable. Construction across the street was a bit noisy and room floor and shower were not super clean. Only had 2 bath towels for 4 person reservation. "
