"We rented 2 rooms. I have 2 young adult children and a 10 and 8 year old. It was our 1st time to New Jersey/NYC and we rode the bus/train into NYC everyday. The hotel was very clean, and looked like they were doing remodeling to upgrade. The breakfast was pretty good. The day staff was amazing, kind and very helpful. The maintenance man was someone that stood out to me and my kids the most. He was the kindest, most thoughtful person. And then there was one staff member at night that went out of...

"Room with two full beds was reserved. Upon arrival was informed that none were available EXCEPT for those on the floor that was under renovation. Carpet ripped up from floor completely which exposed the gummy/sticky floor. Leaving personal footwear sticking to floor which made it difficult to walk. Asked for two single rooms at hotel expense but was declined."

"Staff was surly. Not outright rude, but definitely not friendly, and they were a bit impatient. The hotel was okay but omg it smelled. There is almost a sewage smell all over and it’s covered up with air fresheners or something. Maybe from the marshes nearby? Room was pretty large and clean. But the smell killed it for me."

"As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." This hotel was very cheap, and it reflects it. We had plaster falling from the ceiling onto our bed. The TV didn't work, the beds were uncomfortable, and we couldn't take advantage of the lovely pavilion that they show on their website because that's where all the smokers go. However, if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay near NYC, this is the ticket. The NJ Transit bus leaves from out front between 6-9 AM into the City."

"The room was filthy, the vending machine didn’t work, the lock was broken, there were bugs and stains on the wall."

"Bathroom needed a better toilet. The seat was coming off. The floor in the room was kinda dirty. Most of the channels on the tv were unavailable. But there was a fridge and microwave and that came in handy. There was also a iron which was also helpful. They also need a better elevator. It was slow and very dirty."

"Do NOT book this hotel it is absolutely filthy. The breakfast they claim to have does not exist. There is visible water damage in the bathroom and room that has not been repaired. It smells like a public bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned in years. The sheets and towels are stained. The walls and doors are falling apart. I would not stay here even if it was free."
