"Please note that this from the perspective of a westerner (Canada) — This was a very traditional Japanese resort. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride. "Quite far away from popular places like Ieyasu tomb & Edo Wonderland but worth the travel, especially when driving. Closest convenient store is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and able to communicate excellent English. Another nice thing is they provided us with local sweets every morning with 1000 Yens voucher for nearby stores discount."

"部屋がとにかく広くて良かった。 設備は多少古くて、綺麗とは言えないがソファにカバーをかけるなどの工夫をしていた。 下の階に温泉や食事処があり、接客が特に良かった。 料理も安くて美味しかった。 温泉は宿泊者以外も利用する為、人が多かった。ロッカーの鍵がほとんど壊れているので注意。 漫画の種類も豊富で嬉しかった。 カラオケもあるので滞在中飽きない。 岩盤浴やプールが直ったら、是非また利用したい。"
