"Good sized room, very centrally located next to shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel is a little dated but it was very clean. The staff were all lovely and really make you feel welcomed."

"Clean single room for an overnight stay, the hotel is literally opposite the railway station and Piece Hall and town centre are a short walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with some tic perhaps, but the rates are very reasonable and the bed was comfortable. Some rooms face a busy road so some traffic noise, but not too bad. Would stay again."

However, our stay was overshadowed by an extremely unpleasant experience with a staff member who was also the duty manager. We were staying at the hotel to attend a wedding in the area. I was in a nearby room and part of the same group as the groom, and witnessed the incident on the morning of checkout—also the morning of the wedding. "I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, well-organized, and had a fresh, clean scent as soon as I walked in. The bedding was crisp and comfortable, and housekeeping clearly paid attention to detail throughout the space. The bathroom was equally clean, with neatly arranged toiletries and no signs of wear or mess."
