"The entire hotel looked a bit run down if one looked at it up close, but the inside of the room was acceptable and the bed was comfortable enough. There was also good water pressure in the shower. However, one of the handles on one of the drawers was broken and never replaced, and the bathtub needed to be resurfaced. Similarly, the room appeared clean overall, but the water holding part of the coffee machine was so dirty that I could not drink coffee in the morning. Only one packet of decaf...

"On the left side of the door was a big smudge that looked like either chocolate or blood. Couldn't tell which. I did report it to the front desk. There were 3 of us in the room. The next day they did not restock enough towels. Had to ask for more of them. The window had duck tape on it. There was a zip tie on the curtain. The room had a weird smell. The second day of the stay the cable went out in early afternoon and never came back on that night or the next morning. Another customer...

"We needed a room with two beds. When we searched on Expedia, we used the filter that allows you to search for a hotel room with two beds. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that there were only rooms available with one bed. We were also told that it is the fault of Expedia that the Expedia website leads one to believe that there are two beds when there is actually only one."

"Almost no hot water, three of the lightbulbs were burned out in our room. No cups"

"Clean and good-sized rooms. Nice pool and very comfortable beds. The most outstanding feature was the chef and the breakfast. Chef Nell and Edwin were wonderfully welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was great. Other staff were just OK. Reception desk seemed stressed and/or under-staffed. Housekeeping did not attend to our room at all during our 2-night stay and we had to request towels twice. But overall excellent value and would recommend to others."

"The breakfast was not good at all. I think they're using the same food for many days. I requested to have my room made up and on a three nights day they never made it up. I called them complained numerous times but somehow they didn't clean it. The room was decent but the lighting was very dim inside the room . Not a great stay"
