"Very clean spacious room and bathroom. Only knocked off a star as when the room next door closed their door it shook our whole room (521) and woke us up a few times like an earthquake."
"The lifts are an absolute pain in the neck! Also, the tables at breakfast are far too close together and we felt cramped in - they need to be spaced out more. When I suggested a table I was told “as I could see” the table was not laid out and it would have been a better table for us rather than the cramped in table we were given "
"We have visited this hotel many times before, and it has been amazing., unfortunately this time round was a different story. Communication was poor, we had booked a suite as a treat for Easter, part of this package was VIP parking, when we arrived the car park was closed, no email, no message on the Expedia chat with the hotel. We parked in the multi-story which was fine, the next day we were informed that the car park was now open, we moved the car only to be sent back by security who informed us the car park was not available, just kept getting sent back to the multi-story, the front desk had no idea. The room was fine, bit run down and shabby; robes in the room dirty with fake tan, although the espa products were a nice touch. Mini bar was another perk of the room, however we had to chase to get it replenished! Had dinner in the sky lounge, again dirty floors, a quick carpet sweeper would have fixed that but the staff were using a broom on the carpet which wasn’t doing anything. Main course arrived before the starter, but that got fixed eventually. We were overcharged on the bill and this needed correcting, it just felt that the staff did not communicate with each other! Casino bar used to be the place to go for a nice G&T however we were told, they don’t do that anymore and they don’t have a drinks menu? We left… The high line bar was a nice new edition, live music, good staff, although my wine was corked! Overall a poor experience!"
"Brilliant stay, very clean hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and they catered brilliantly for my husband who has celiac disease. Will definitely staff again. "
"Ok should have known staying at a hotel while it was having building work done, first night very cold and put it down to complicated temperature control. But the next day when going out seeing heaters being moved out of rooms. Once I returned I sat how cold it was and was promptly given a heater room was nice a toasty. Parking, once you have a space Don't move your car or lose the space.
But I was warned. It was a shame that I encountered the member of staff knew nothing about road tolls or M6 charges. "
