"I first went to pony soldier Hotel 11 years ago and it was probably three star. But in the last 11 years it has become rundown. Our room, the sink wouldn’t drain, but very, very slowly, the toilet tissue holder broke while we were there, and the place didn’t smell good. Breakfast was OK but boring. And the dog potting area was downstairs and inconvenient."

"I did not like any of it ! The staff was not helpful at all. As I entered my room there were things broken off the wall and on floor. The door lock was on the floor had been broken off the door I stepped on the screw and it punctured my foot. When i took the pieces down to the front desk and they just stared at them and said thank you. It was late at night and i had numerous meetings for the next 3 days. I decided not to make a scene. "Blanket was dirty, towels had hair on them. None of the outlets near the beds worked. Staff refused to do anything about any of it."

Just to start off the manager wouldn’t let me check in cuz he thought I was a prosituite and tried to agree with me and say that I’ve stayed at his motel before. Ended getting an apology for that. But then he went on to say if I work the streets he would kick me out immediately. He likes to lurk in your window and see who’s in your place this place is ridiculous can’t have anyone at all over after...

"We got to the place to check in and were told they do not offer double beds and now that we are checking out they tell us they have a bunk bed room available for $70 which is more than the $55 room."

"Great location. We didn’t need to go to airport but noticed that the shuttle was ready. The front desk coffee station is handy. Staff were super friendly. The only issue we had was the noise during the stay: not from the traffic or the airport, but the upper floor. The movement of the upper floor during midnight at 2am was very loud."

"Very easy to check in, the room was clean and cozy, the common areas were also very cozy and well-stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The restaurant next door was a bit loud at peak time of the evening, but that quieted down by the time we wanted to sleep and from then on it was nice and quiet. "I had a bit of late check-in and even though I had alerted the hotel about it, my room with a hot tub had been given to someone else who apparently had a similar name to mine?!?! I managed to get my room back after a couple of hours. It was not a very good start to what was meant to be a nice romantic getaway, but once we settled in, it was well worth the headache to get our room back… will be staying here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone."
