Lovely motel - I recommend!

Excellent motel - super easy to walk to the township. Friendly and helpful hosts. Modern, clean and everything provided that we needed for a long weekend.

Nice tidy studio on the main road of Hanmer. Super close to the hot pools / spa and the town centre. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful reception

The motel was well maintained, simple and comfortable motel. The lady in the reception was very helpful and friendly, and she even let us check in a little bit earlier. The location of the motel is great, a short walking distance to the thermal pools and the motel even offered us two towels to take to the pools.

Personally, I don't think this property is a 4 star. More like a 3 star. It was clean and tidy but a bit dated (furnishings and the bathroom was in need of updating). The bathroom was tiled and flat with a shower curtain that went around the shower (very outdated) with no storage at all, no where to put your toiletries or clothes when you get out of the shower. You couldn't put anything on the floor as it would get very wet!

Great stay at Tussock Peak Motor Lodge. Easily accommodated when I had to change dates very close to my booking, owner happy to shuffle things around so we could still stay. Pleasant friendly staff, very helpful. Great location, handy to walk to everything we wanted to do. Room had everything we needed.
