Very small room especially the bathroom no windows in the room. Delux room booked. Very musty smell in the lifts and room. Complained about smell and they changed our room. Second room had bigger bathroom which was much nicer. Bed was very noisy when either of us turned over. Location was in old quarter and close to all the hustle and bustle.

Just wrapped up a stay at Grande Collection Hotel and Spa (March 22–25) and it was honestly the highlight of our trip. The staff and bellboys were absolute legends—so helpful with our heavy luggage and always ready to give us the best local tips. It’s a super friendly vibe, making it perfect for families or couples looking for a stress-free base. One thing we loved was how safe the area feels. Even at midnight, we felt totally fine walking around; there’s no need to be scared at all. We paid a very reasonable fee to upgrade to a 7th-floor city view balcony, and I’d 100% recommend it! Watching the Old Quarter buzz from above was so cool. The bed is a total game-changer too—easily the best sleep we’ve had while traveling. The location is unbeatable, with endless food and coffee right outside. Also, do yourself a favor and hit the spa; the traditional Vietnamese massage was so relaxing. Big thanks to the team for looking after us. We’ll be back!

Honnestly great stay. Spent over two weeks here, staff was always friendly and nice, was able to have services such as breakfast, regularly cleaning the room and even laundry. View was great from the 6th floor with tons of space, Overall a great experience and location in the old quarter is about a 15 minute walk from the "downtown" of Hanoi making the price very reasonable

My friend needed to visit a doctor during the trip and the receptionist told us a clinic where there is no doctor. The spa and facial are quite good. The location is quite good as it is not far away from the tourist spots.

Great location, in the old quarter, just in the middle of everything. You can get by walk to all main places in Hanoi or even to take a public bus near by to get to the French Quarter in just 15 minutes. Great service and breakfast, including eggs fresh made. It also count with laundry service really affordable and fast (in just one day).

The employees at the property are so nice and accommodating. I think this is the reason the property has good customers ratings. However, this is not a 4 star hotel. It is rundown and more like a basic older motel. However, it is in an excellent location so if you want service and good location, this place is for you. If you want an upper scale hotel with a nice room and good shower, this place is not for you.

Small and dark dark room

The location was perfect, it was walking distance from the centre. Rooms are not like pictures on the website. It is small and very dark inside. Lots of dust in under the bed. No lift to the 7th floor or no interconnecting rooms. Breakfast area is very small.
