The staff at Hanoi Discovery Hotel were very welcoming and helpful. It was very convenient to very central places in Old Quarter Hanoi. The room was perfect for a solo traveler like me. Hope to stay again sometime!

This hotel is a great location. The room was clean and comfortable . It was on a street that was a bit noisy until around midnight .

The hotel is very central in the city. There are restaurants in the street outside the door. The staff and owner are all very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, but there were builders working when I was there. I was told about this in advance and they never worked at night.

Nice place.

Nice place in great location close to the ‘beer street’. There is noise from the street most of the night, but a nice hotel. Mike, the owner was very kind and helpful.

Very straight forward. They were expecting me so check in was no problem. The room was in nice condition with all the facilities specified. The staff booked a taxi for me to go to the airport at the end of my stay.

There is no elevator on the very old hotel, walking to the 4th floor up and down in a small and narrow stairs is hard experience. But it’s good price in the centre of Hanoi.

If you want to be in the heart of Beer Street, this is your place for a cheap price. However the cheap price and local of bars, results in mediocre room and what appeared to be vomit on the bathroom wall which could have easily been cleaned by housekeeping. Will define spend the extra 10 usd if staying in a drinking area.

I would stay again

Good basic hotel located in central backpacker district. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was decent for small hotel. WiFi worked well & TV had a couple English movie channels I would stay again. Bed linen clean and comfortable

・シングルで予約したのに、予約の際はシングルの部屋の紹介がダブルの写真で載っていたので部屋に入った瞬間は全然違ってガッカリした。(窓も無く息苦しい) ・スタッフがサービス皆無 ・テレビも使えない ・窓がないので空気の循環が悪い とりあえずガッカリです。 ここに泊まるなら同じ名前のⅡがあるので、そっちに泊まったほうが明らかにいいです。同じ値段だと思います。こっちはやめた方がいい。

Room was ok but internet bad won’t work in room and was not told about breakfast even though I had paid for it in adavance and full payment made to hotel which was their duty to tell customers if they forgot so they should refund money half or refund for breakfast paid for n not served to me or told me about it when I met them in morning man n women who run that hotel paying rent to owner of hotel to have breakfast which is free n I paid for so had to go out spend more money n eat out

Staff very kind, room and bed clean... a bit noisy from the street because of many barsssss in this area, but not that much on 3rd floor (+ always have my ear plugs while travelling). The single room I booked was not available, but I had a 6 beds one only for myself. Ok for a short stay... maybe also for city night birds :)

Cheap Hotel close to Hoan Kiem

The staff was super friendly and I appreciated how close the Hotel was to Hoan Kiem. They immediately changed my mattress after I complained about it being very hard. Room was definitely small but good for what you pay.
