In our trip to Vietnam, Taiwan, HK this was the best hotel even though it was the cheapest. We got large rooms with two double beds, intricately made for us. However what was exceptional was the service. The room was 5 floors up and there was no elevator (not the best) but the receptionist made up for it by carrying our heavy luggage up the stairs. When we were checking out too, we called front desk. Le climbed 5 set of stairs immediately to grab the heavy items from us. Apart from this, all our needs were taken care of. We were picked up from the hotel with a guy carrying placard with my name. We were picked up from the hotel by taxi for the airport. We were able to give all our dirty clothes for laundry to the front-desk and receive it next morning. We were picked outside our hotel for Halong Bay tour due to it's convinient location in Old Quarter. The front-desk staff was very thorough at booking these. The front desk guy (Le) also gave us a map explaining where to look for shopping in the night. Hanoi Weekend Night Market is a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. French Quarter is 15-minute walk. Once we had a problem with hot water. We called front-desk, Le came immediately up 5 flight of stairs and instructed us on how to use the water heating system. We made sure to tip Le in the end for his help. In summary, huge spacious room in an excellent location with unparalleled service for dirt-cheap price (18$).

When we moved the bed to look for something you could see it hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. The hotel were understanding and so were expedia. The staff are excellent and always on hand to help. Would recommend using a launderette away from the hotel as significantly cheaper.

Super gelegenes Hotel direkt an der Altstadt von Hanoi (und die ist sooooo toll). Super freundliches Personal, das tolle Tipps geben konnte. Wir haben ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer mit Balkon bekommen. Das Zimmer war riesig. Das Frühstück wird à la carte bestellt und frisch zubereitet und es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ich würde dieses Hotel immer wieder buchen.

Everything you need is there.

Nothing missing. The rooms are large (I stayed in two during my two recent stays), very clean, well modernly equiped. Extremly nice staff, very friendly and respectful at the same time (helpful too), fluent in English. The hotel is ideally located a few steps from the gate to the old town and walking distance from the Long Biên bus station where bus #86 stops, direct from the airport (great advantage). Good choice and quality of different types of breakfast, cooked for you on order. I will definitely be staying there if I go back to Hanoi.

Ich kann diese Unterkunft nicht bewerten, weil wir zwar zwei Nächte gebucht hatten, aber da unser Flug einen Tag Verspätung hatte, nahm die Unterkunft dies zum Anlass, die Übernachtungen zu streichen und unser Zimmer zu vergeben. Dies hatte zur Auswirkung, dass wir am verspäteten Ankunftstag kein Hotel mehr zur Verfügung hatten. Wir fuhren trotzdem dorthin und wenigstens half uns der Rezeptionist, ein anderes Zimmer zu finden ( zu einem höheren Preis ). International ist dieses Verhalten nicht zu akzeptieren.

The staff is outstanding. They were so very helpful. This is a small hotel with rooms on four floors without an elevator. So be prepared to go up and down steps. The location was perfect for my needs in the old quarter of Hanoi.

Outstanding staff

The passion suite hotel has all the essentials for a traveler. No extra frills. My room was comfortable. I did not have a room with a window. But that was fine for my needs. There are four floors and no elevator. But the staff is very helpful in getting your luggage to your room The staff is outstanding. They are very very friendly and very very helpful. They speak and understand English well. The location is in the old quarter. This is very convenient for wandering in the main market and in the night market and in the lake area. It is very convenient to the bus facilities and, I believe, the train. This location was perfect for my interests and my needs. Breakfast is included. The staff is the best.

買い物に便利な、居心地の良いホテルです。

とてもアットホーム的なホテルです。 朝食がオーダー式なので、楽しみです。 大きな市場にも、ナイトマーケットも 近くて便利です。 ただ、シャワー式のハンドウオシュレットがものすごく強力な勢いで、とても使えませんでした。 難点は、それくらいです。

全てのスタッフが親切で素晴らしい。受付を仕切る女性は英語と地元情報に優れている。私の拙い英語にも快く対応してくれた。シャワーの温水が途中で止まって冷たい。シャンプーとボディソープは最低限のものなので持ち込んだ方が良いかも。無料の水は補充が無いので買い足したほうがいい。観光がしやすい立地です。大きな車道に面しているので夜はうるさいが、ベトナムらしくて良い。金額には十分見合ったホテルでお薦めです。

매우 불만족...침대시트가 청소가 되지 않아 먼지가 수북히 쌓여 있었고, 화장실 변기에 변과 소변이 그대로 묻어 있어서 토할뻔 했으며, 따뜻한 물이 나오지 않아 스트레스가 극심했음...객실에 보일러가 되지 않아 매우 추웠으나 이불도 세탁이 되어있지 않아 밤새 떨었음..어떻게 이런 곳이 영업을 하는지 상당히 의문스러움..

Whilst this hotel offers great value for money in the heart of the old quarter action, it is definitely a bit rough around the edges in terms of condition and cleanliness. But the staff were fantastic, the breakfast was decent and the rooms have everything you need. So if you don’t mind the constant traffic noise (and occasional inconsiderate guests who shout and carry on in the stairwell at 1am), the slight grunginess and the stair climb (we were on 5th floor) then it’s fine.

朝食が美味しいホテル。

場所が分かり難かった。 ホテルの看板を、ハッキリ出して下さい。 朝食が、オーダー制で、とても美味しかったです。 シャワーの出が、もう少し強いと、いいのですか。 ホテルから、歩いて、どこへも行けて、ロケーションは最高でした。 バスルームの入り口の足元に、金具が付いていたけど、それが外れかけていて、毎回引っ掛かりそうになって、危なかった。 こちらから言わなくても、掃除のときに、気がつくと思うが・・・ でも、また行きたいとは思います。

Awesome location and value.

It is hard to imagine better value and location in combination with cleanliness and friendliness. The rate was exceptional and included a cooked to order breakfast. The hotel is a couple hundred metres away from Gate 1 into the old quarter and I was able to walk everywhere. The proprietors were lovely and the room very clean. It is a legitimate three star and more than adequate unless you are the type of person who is super picky and want luxurious appointments. It does not have that but was extremely clean. The only other thing people should be aware of is that there are six floors but no elevator which was not a problem for me but could present issues for some.
