"Outdated doors, scratches all over them. Bathrooms have not been upgraded to match the brand. I’ve stayed at other la quintas and this one is not as well maintained or kept up with the quality of this brands other hotels. It’s good if you’re staying for a night or two, but not as a place to stay for vacation/take family too. "My spouse and I chose the Baymont Inn and suites in Northwood,. Ohio mainly ,because of the reasonable price and that it included breakfast. Upon arrival, we found our room to be clean and the staff helpful. The hotel was near a great selection of places to eat and convenient stores for everyday needs . "The place was very well kept, the staff was wonderful and makes us want to return EXCEPT for the bedding. Our two queen room had two different height beds and both were the old style mattress and box spring. They were worn out, sides broke down, and creaked and cracked at every move. If they replace the bedding I would give it a for sure 5star rating"

"Great hotel, staff was great, amenities were constantly restocked, pool was chilly but nice. The hot tub would have been nice, but it no longer exists. Overall great hotel with great staff and pool, but no hot tub."

"The staff who work at this motel are great. I expected that a property that was a Wyndham would be other than a run down motel with weary rooms filled with beat up and worn furniture. It was very shabby. The bathroom was very clean, but not very nice. A breakfast was supposedly included, but it was only a granola bar, orange juice and not good coffee. The people who work there are kind, informative and hard working—they deserve a better facility to run."

We stayed in room 119- there is an outside light that shines towards the building about 4' away from the window which really lit up the room. Next time, I will avoid that room...lol.
