"I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! We came for a girls weekend and the staff was so kind and helpful, the breakfast and complimentary happy hour were great, and our room was adorable and clean! Highly recommend for any trip to the Connecticut shore!"

"Overall a fair 3 star stay. The room was a bit old, flat feather pillows were not for a good nights sleep at all and the chair at the desk looked like it had lost a fight with a pack of wolves. For the most part it was clean and ok. The staff were super nice and respectful. The restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal however. With some updating this would be a much better stay for the money, but I would certainly be comfortable staying again in the future."

"The room was way cleaner than anticipated honestly very surprising, sheets felt genuinely clean and the AC worked well, breakfast was good, and continuously maintained, and the staff was really nice, would definitely go there again!"

"We reserved 2 rooms a month ago, asked to be nearby instead were on 2 different floors. Room 2 had sand in the sheets and dirt on cover. Called front desk, was given new sheets, wrong size and had to change ourselves since room cleaning gone for day. Front desk should have offered to change the bed!! Other room was fine. Breakfast was really good, very well kept up with refills. Breakfast room could have been bigger."

"Our room was dark and the light on the wall was not working. There was a standing lamp but no outlet to plug it into, so we made do with two desk lamps. The bathroom was a little shabby but the bed was comfortable and clean and the woman at the desk was really nice and friendly. The AC also worked well."

"When we arrived around 5:30, the front office was already closed and we were lucky to run into and employee who took us to our room. The room was very run down, but clean enough. No bed bugs. There were a lot of flies however, which I thought was odd. Traditional style lock and key and in a super cute part of town. It’s right down the street from base so that’s really nice. Overall it was ok."

"You get what you pay for. Both the property and the room were dingy, dirty, things were broken, etc. Room smelled like cigarettes after we requested a nonsmoking room. Staff were very friendly and nice."

"This is a property that needs an upgrade. The walls, door, and trim all need to be freshened up. The room was clean but had an off smell. There is no coffee maker in the room. The front desk did not offer any additional information at check in. The key card did not always work right. The traffic was also loud outside."

"Lobby is in good shape, breakfast was also fine. The hallways and doors and stairwell are really beat up and dingy. The room was ok, but our AC unit was rusty, bent and dirty but it did work. The worst was other guests smoking weed in their room and in the doorways to the property. The hallway smelled terrible. Highly recommend don’t stay there just because it’s budget."

"There were stairs at each entrance so luggage had to be carried, no ramp. Everything was pretty old looking although clean enough. The WiFi was pathetically slow and difficult to connect to. The breakfast started at 7:00 which was too late for me, I had to leave each morning at seven. It’s not terrible but I’m used to better."
