"I was worried about taking a single room but actually it was a decent size with everything I needed such as iron and hair dryer. The (very small) bathroom had great water pressure and hot water throughout my stay. Front desk were super friendly and helped organise taxis etc for me. The hotel has ample parking and is in a quiet location. I’d never considered staying there before but I’m very likely to choose it again. "We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

Unfortunately, there was no hot water both in the evening and the following morning, which we reported to the host on departure.
