"Room smelled terrible when we arrived and was not vacuumed. There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom. We were thankful that we just didn’t have to spend much time in our hotel."

"This is a great location, and the staff are very efficient and friendly. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and watched over. The fitness center was also plenty adequate. As with many NYC properties, spaces are really small, including possibly the smallest elevators I've seen. But it worked well and they thankfully left the stairwell unlocked so I used the stairs most of the time. The condition of the rooms is worn and not 100% spic & span clean but for the price, it's a great hotel. Just a couple blocks from Central Park and right in between 5th and 6th in Midtown. "

"Breakfast is terrible. The food is buffet style. The eggs were overcooked and not replaced after sitting idle for some time. The breakfast meets were of poor quality and also sitting for long. It's something the hotel should address. Other than that this is my go to hotel for short trips in NY. "
