I ordered lunch at the bar and the bartender was wonderful - I've seen him there for years when I come to town, and he's always polite and swift and nice to chat with. I wish I remembered his name.
The room, however, was one of their older ones with thin walls, near the elevator (so I heard people laughing and shouting until 2:00 in the morning), and there's no way to control the heat setting in the room so I was boiling. I usually enjoy my stay at this hotel, but I haven't stayed in one of these older rooms. Now I know it's a crapshoot. It's too bad, because I like so much else about the hotel. (Despite the cost)
