"There were no coffee makers in the rooms. They didn't have ice buckets. The breakfast was terrible. We were told that they couldn't find their egg pans! And it was so noisy that each room had ear plugs. One person on the front desk was polite but the other two at the desk made you feel like you were bothering them."

"This place was great for our one day in Albuquerque before flying out after visiting Santa Fe. The property is fun; the rooms are styled well and very clean. We enjoyed the complimentary beer from The Tap Room at one of the many outdoor tables. The outside spaces are a nice feature of this property. The room was clean and the bedding comfy. My only wish is that the pool was open. It was one of the key features that made me select The El Vado over other options and having the pool not open yet...

"Cutest place ever! 50's decor to go along with the Route 66 - 100 year anniversary trip we were on from Michigan, right on neon street! We each got a free token for a free drink from their lobby/bar which I've never seen a place do before 😮🍸🍸 Large room and very comfy king bed. Only .4 miles to walk to the town square. Everything was GREAT!"

"Pool and hot tub inoperable, door locked. Filthy hardwood floors with ants, red and black microscopic bugs around the bed and throughout the room. Floors lightly swepted but needed deep mopping. After being bitten several times on first night, at breakfast, I showed evidence of ants, red and black bugs on a napkin. Assured Me that room was gonna be cleaned, it wasn't done by nighttime. I wet a towel and washed the entire floors three times. Ants, bugs, contact lens and dental floss container was...

"Sheets were dirty, stains and dirty. Pool closed. Not a good experience"

"The room appeared ok, staff were friendly, but the room turned out to have cockroaches! My granddaughter found several while she was preparing to shower and I had to kill them so she would take her shower. Very disappointing stay."

"Had to wait almost an hour for help getting in my room upon arrival as the key card didn't work. Basically adequate, except for the stink of the room. Double the price I normally pay for a room at new by places. The view to pull out on busy street was obstructed by curvy road and bushes by street they had planted. Very dangerous. Hope I never need to stay there again."
