"The hotel is very dated and not as well maintained as the photos look. Furniture along the halls on the 3rd floor that were oddly placed. We paid £80 in addition to the stay, for the spa (price for a couple) and it was not worth it, it felt overbooked so had to wait to move between the facilities, floor tiles moved around the jacuzzi, food in the spa wasn’t great. "Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible. No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged. Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site. Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. "We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them...

"very tired hotel - they are currently doing works in the lobby which looks to be a lick of paint and tiling. the rooms are really tired though, with no temperature control and no ability to open windows - cue awful night's sleep due to the room being very stuffy. can tell it was once a lovely hotel with good amenities when it was built, but everything is very shabby now and the new Radisson around the corner shows it up"
