"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emotions Juan Dolio in late August 2026! It was our first time with the Emotions chain. We booked very last minute and were extremely happy with our choice. While much of the DR’s east coast was buried in seaweed from Miches to La Romana, Juan Dolio had beautiful clear water and a seaweed-free beach. "Food was delicious,staff was very friendly and helpful,every night were diffrent performances for kids and adults like white party,retro show etc. The hotel need renovation and a refresh; there was no ventilation in the bathroom, there was mold in some places, and the bathtub was worn and scratched."

"The only negative thing I have to say is when we first checked in the room was hot and the fan was very loud and wobbled. We did end up getting a different room because the AC was not working. The staff was super helpful and friendly!! The food was great! The pools were fabulous! We had a blast!!!! Beautiful property!!!"
