"The hotel s nice, but the room was small with no windows, none. Was worried about safety in case of a fire. They have the best food, but I hate the extra fee on the bill even when take out. As a costumer I felt forced to leave a tip in that fee. I always leave tips. If you don't know better, you will double up on tips. The managers Ken and Joanna are the best. They were truly helpful from the beginning to the end. On a side note... They have the best cucumber juice."

"The hotel is close to the airport but the cab ride is still 30 dollars each way, Rooms are basic and had to change rooms due to leaky AC unit. Pool is crowded with local children during our stay. The food at the restaurants was very good. Only would stay here if you need a place close to the airport."

We got a very small one room crammed space. A queen sized bed which was 10 steps from the door, a dorm size fridge and small microwave on a table, 1 chair in the corner close to the bed, a rod to hang your clothes. "If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

The room was nice and we stayed there on the first and last night in Belize before and after our trips to the tropical San Pedro for beach and snorkeling and the rain forest region near San Ignacio to explore Mayan ruins and caves."
