"The room was clean and well supplied. The information booklet was greatly appreciated and help select restaurant for our evening meal. It was the first booklet supplied to us the entire month of our trip. "

"Had ocean view but no chairs on tiny patio. Upgraded our room but our friends had a way bigger room. Guess upgrade was the tiny balcony. Breakfast buffet was horrible 2 days in a row. Lunch they would not bring food out to pool area and had to go eat Chinese buffet inside. Was silly because the first day they brought out the best chicken fingers I ever had to pool chair. Dave was awesome server"

"Our cottage was very comfortable with a 4’ deep pool outside our door. The restaurant, called Martha’s Cafe is excellent. It’s basically a vegan restaurant but also has other foods. Both my wife’s and my breakfast were very good. "

"Our room was very comfortable and clean. There was construction happening, for building an addition to the hotel, but it didn't interfere, as they shut down for the night. The rooftop restaurant was an amazing experience!"

"This is the best place to stay in Belize city. I was greeted after a late flight by Michelle, who helped me to my room and took me to get some delicious street food because I was too tired to dine out. I learnt about the culture, the best places to go and we could have kept talking all night! The rooms are beautiful, within walking distance to everything and kept safe by the resident dog Max. Thank you for having me! I will definitely be back, "

"It’s an OK hotel. Beds were good. Breakfast was good. But amenities are lacking. "

"This is a nice place to stay. It has a few things to work on. They need to have more coffee available or put coffee pots in every room. A dessert menu would be nice and or a place that sells snacks on site. It’s not really close to a store. The staff "

"The room was clean and mostly comfortable, though it would have been great to have a chair. Ochuna was a great restaurant, even though they didn’t have the ability to process credit cards. The staff were wonderful! And the airport shuttle was really helpful. I wish we’d known so many things were closed on Sunday and Monday—it would have been more fun."

"I wou definitely stay at this small boutique hotel. The host is very nice. The location is walkable to the water taxi, local food and downtown. The room was clean, spacious, AC nice and cold, warm shower and the bed was very comfortable. If you need help with booking Nythung they will you as well. "

"Great host and location in a renovated historic house. Felt safe walking to the nearby restaurant even after dark. The water taxi terminal was nearby as well. Cocktail hour is on Friday and Saturday so don't miss that if you're there. Breakfast was great. Would stay there again."

"On the wall in the entrance it says something like,”Welcome. Arrive as guests and leave as friends.” It is the experience of hospitality we had at the Belcove and learned bits of history and culture by speaking with staff. "

"I booked here because it had a gym and i like to workout after a day of traveling, only one of the treadmills worked, it was dirty and in very poor condition. The pool area does not look like the photo, it is old and in need of repair, it is surrounded by folding tables and assorted plastic chairs. No hair dryers in the rooms, i had to wash ,my hair in the sink because there was no hot water or water pressure in the shower."
