I’d say the pictures of the property on Expedia were a little generous for the quality of the room we had. We seemed to be the only ones there the night we stayed and if that is the best room available with a poorly working ac unit and non functional fan I wouldn’t want to see the other rooms. "My husband was unexpectedly unable to join me on the trip. But my cousin came along instead. When I explained what happened, they helpfully changed my king room to a double queen. This is my second trip to the Fairmont Orchid. The beach and pool are lovely. The food is fabulous. The grounds are immaculate. The outdoor spa can't be beat with the sound of the running water.
