"A lovely little pub ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and horse riders but breakfast is not served until 9am although it is advertised in the room as 8 to 10am. As like us most people holidaying for this reason want to be up early and out. We had a room for three adults but the hospitality tray was set for two people and as the room was not cleaned or beds made during our stay we only had one t bag left for the second morning."

"This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. Evening meal and service in bar were also good, even though it was a busy evening. We would definitely return to the...

"We only stayed for one night but had a really lovely evening! The staff were very friendly, the pub/hotel have been recently refurbished and it's great. The rooms have everything you'd need, comfy bed, great shower, lovely lighting, loads of plugs! The bar and food was great. "Terrible hotel. Would avoid! Rang me on the day of check-in to say that the hotel was overbooked. I was then told that, as compensation for THEIR error, they would put me in a 'sister' hotel, which in fact looked like a 1970s pub and was not at all a like-for-like swap. Very unhelpful staff; offered absolutely no assistance in resolving any discrepancies, and had to escalate to Expedia to get anywhere."
