"The rooms have been updated with new appliances. the room was nicely done. The new microwave was apparently a dud. I called the staff and within 5 minutes they had a brand new one. The staff was very attentive. Asked us many times if we needed anything or if all was well. They cleaned the room very nicely. No odd smells. "I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. From the moment I entered the room, there was an unpleasant odor. it did not smell clean or fresh at all. The issues continued throughout the room. The shower had a strong, foul smell, similar to a wet dog. The refrigerator was dusty and visibly dirty, and the microwave had not been properly cleaned. "They’re renovating their property but key items like tubs and vanities were not included and should’ve been, there was no place for our luggage, no outlets by the beds to plug in electronics, door had a huge gap in it, millipedes were coming from the tub drain and where they had painted the room and not ventilated properly afterwards it was overwhelming strong not to mention the man who had frequent visitors all night in the back of the parking lot."

"This was a stop off on the way to savannah - the hotel was convenient and staff helpful and friendly. We stopped at Jesup because it has a railroad line and thought it would be fun to see some really big freight trains. We were not disappointed and continued our journey south quite happy."
