The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple. "Historic inn. Like staying in a museum. Such a cool historic vibe. Room was small, but adequate. Breakfast was outstanding. There happened to be a ceilidh dance on in the barn that night. We joined in and had a blast. Very memorable stay. One for the life books for sure. Recommended "

"Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️"

"Small beautifully restored country house hotel. Used as a wedding venue, but they don’t let that get on the way as they prefer for it. Stay and staff were fantastic. Evening food options are limited but plenty of variety available with 5-10 min drive. "
