"If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong."

The room we were assigned looked significantly different from the online images and appeared to be in poor condition. Upon arrival, we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including what appeared to be pet waste embedded in the carpet (partially hidden by a chair), pet urine stains along the baseboards, and what appeared to be blood on a shelf in the bathroom. "Nice hotel, especially the location and cleanliness! We had to request additional towels, as there was only one washcloth for three people."

"The beds were comfortable. The full size refrigerator was very nice. It needed another chair to sit on. There was only 1 bar of soap so we had to buy something for the shower. Also has to but dish washing soap to clean the dishes that were provided. The dishes were a nice touch but if you plan on using the cooking area you have to bring your own pot/pan/utensils. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Also, though it says they provide a hair dryer, you have to ask for one at the front...

"The front desk person, Kayla was OUTSTANDING. The cleaning staff was running a little behind schedule and Kayla was honest with us at check in, as we were 30 minutes early. Kayla was super helpful recommending places to eat. She was super positive when interacting with us and totally made us feel welcome. Great job Kayla, a real asset to their staff!"

"Decent room. No coffee maker, no hair dryer. Train went by at 1:30 am and woke me up. Person above me never stopped banging things and stomping back and forth... literally all evening and from 2:30am on. Will not stay here again. Disappointed."
