"A lovely stay at Thorpe Guest house. Lovely area and very relaxing. The hosts are very helpful on local area amenities and our stay. Would recommend highly if staying in the area. I would book again when visiting family and friends near by."

"ok for the night cheaper than close alternatives easy to find breakfast is toast and cereal and nice coffee all provided free 6am till 10am which is a nice touch matress not great but not bad either nice shower over small bath but bath is useable reception is brilliant and friendly and very quick to book in a few workmen using as a local base but all were chatty and friendly there is a pub next door 30 second walk food expensive but ok overall well worth a stay if you are tired for the night in...

"The room was really clean. Bath was updated and loved the towel warmer. The rooms could use an update, down-side was is was really dark. More lamps or brighter bulbs would be appreciated. The dining area has great food, we had a dinner and two breakfasts. The full English was more than my husband could eat. All in all a delightful stay. "

I used the pool which was lovely too, although the floor in the ladies changing room was dirty and a bit slippery. Sauna was nice - would definitely book again."

"Road noise audible from the nearby A1 but expected that so ear plugs prevented any issues. Dated decor and furnishings but room clean. Tea coffee kettle in room. My priorities for this stay were location and cost and Redwing Lodge delivered on both. Staff very friendly, self service breakfast basic toasts, cereals, drinks. Perfect for a budget stopover spot. "

"We attended Peterborough Crematorium and this Holiday Inn Express offered great location and value for money for a one night stay. We got a lovely warm welcome upon our arrival and was given lots of useful information regarding our stay during check in. "

"Room was spacious, lovely freestanding bath, large shower room, comfy bed but would have liked feather pillow choice. Room clean but dust in places especially breakfast room fireplace and not open on a sunday evening. Had pancakes for breakfast 1st morning, beautiful crepes & hot runny syrup, ordered the 2nd day and got thick undercooked American pancakes with thick syrup, left unimpressed. "
