"Very peaceful location in pretty village with thatched cottages and near the river for riverside walks. Good security and entry instructions emailed by host pre-arrival. Room was beautifully decorated and all very clean. Lovely shower. Great breakfast delivered to the room - choice of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, jam/marmalade, orange juice. "Helpful staff upon arrival and the room was as expected and very clean however the space in the corner could have been occupied by a chair or couch for additional seating otherwise it had what was required of a room in a hotel. We thought the drinks bar in the dining room was rather expensive though & also an extra charge for parking put 30 pounds on the bill for 3 nights. All in all a good stay."

"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. By 11.30 pm I went to reception and asked them to turn it down. Originally I had thought it was some kind of disco from the restaurant it was so loud!
