"Spotless. Resupply of milk, cookies and other water! Food fabulous! Just a tad noisy it carries, with bar, restaurant all the one room, no carpet but in the summer I am sure with doors open that would soon be fixed."

"A warm and welcoming hotel in an excellent location. The decor in the bar and restaurant was stylish and unique and our room was also full of character, spacious and clean. Breakfast was superb! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was ample and free and convenient. I’m already recommending this place to my friends."

"Parking wasn't too bad in the Saxon Car park, however managing parking for the duration a bit of a faff to juggle without having to top up in the early hours. WiFi was disappointing especially with the cost of a very basic room. You'd expect it to be free as with many other locations. Even though you pay for it, it's very weak, which was a real pain as it kept dropping and you had to keep signing back in."

Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. Great hosts, giving good local advice and hints and tips, could not do enough to help us a new to the area. Bed very comfortable and certainly a warm room. We felt really at home here. "We paid extra for delux rooms and our daughter’s room shower was running slow. The next morning was non existent so they showered in our room When we said about it when we left they said we should have turned the shower head to make the water run better Our argument is that surely it should be correct before we arrived Breakfast took an hour to come out and was ok Other than that it was clean"
