"Very nice stay."

"Jim welcomed us and checked us in. Our room was lovely. If you’re planning a long stay, note that there is no dresser or draws. A huge closet with ironing board and luggage racks. Lots of hangers too. It’s 1 block from the Main Street. Parking is in the rear behind the garden. We didn’t see Jim again until breakfast which is at 9am. You get a menu of 2 choices for breakfast the night before "

"Good news, they welcome pets and only charge $20 per. Bad news, the room REEKED of cat urine. I wouldn’t think of sitting on the sofa. It did not look clean and probably was the source of the smell.. The bed was clean and comfortable, and overall the room was in pretty good shape. But they definitely need to do something about the cat odor."

"Very good value for the price. I booked my stay 2+ weeks in advance, I requested a ground floor room but you were unable to accommodate me which is understandable but also unfortunate. I don't hold that against you but it did make things more difficult!"

"The staff was fantastic. We had a problem with the AC in our room and they moved us to another room very quickly. The hotel went through recent renovations and it looks great. Breakfast was also good. Pricing is very reasonable. Totally will recommend it."

"Pubes in the sink. A/C blowing out heat, then the thermostat actually fell out of it. A dead room phone, shower/water handle came off, ice cube tray looked like an ash tray. Fridge & microwave from 1978. Restaurant is no longer on site. Homeless, sketchy looking people living there. The school bus actually picks up their kids there. No pool. No ice machine and it smells like wet dogs & dope! We will NOT be going back. Waste of money!!!! Didnt bother with the "breakfast" didnt want to risk it....

"Hotel was being renovated but staff was great and breakfast and breakfast staff was very good. We noticed it very easy to hear the guest above us stoping around.....luckily they didn't stomp too late."

"I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel or motel. Trash was all over the place. People were living in one section. There appeared to be drug activity in the parking lot. The clerk told us that they keep tourists away from the "other" people and didn't deny that there was drug activity going on. We did not feel safe enough to stay there and went someplace else that night."

"Hotel itself is fine - typical Hampton Inn. In fact I’d just said to my wife “I’ve never had a bad experience at a Hampton.” Spoke too soon. I prepaid for a night through Expedia for a young colleague of mine who does. Or have a credit card. He was supposed to arrive at 5pm. His flight from Philadelphia was cancelled and he had to rent a car and drive 5 hours to Syracuse. That night before I went to sleep I went to the front desk and explained the situation. "The stay was horrible mold in the bathroom and along the window sill.There were stains on the shades and on the walls in the room there were crickets crawling on the shade and some where even dead on the floor .The toliet was stopped and the walk in shower was leaking water all on the floor .The covers were clean and the wash rags all looked dingy and not as clean .Never again will I ever rent a room from them again .Think twice before you book a room the hotel staff was accommodating and...

"The girl who checked us in was not friendly or informative. We had no idea where our room was or where to park. No information about amenities or a pool. Our handicap accessible room had about 12 inches of space between the bottom of the bed and the wall. Barely enough room to squeeze through to get to the bathroom.
