"When I pulled up to the entrance, I saw a lady arriving with a bag of food. I thought nothing of it. When I went to the check-in desk, there was no attendant. I called out, looked around, and in the dining area--no one responded. I thought this is weird, so I waited, and after about ten minutes, the lady I watched entering the lobby with a bag of food was actually the customer service attendant. "My recent stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Virginia was okay, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The staff was polite, but the overall service felt inconsistent, and some interactions didn’t meet the level of attentiveness I expected. Nothing was terrible, but the experience didn’t quite match the standard I’m used to from this brand. With a bit more focus on cleanliness of the room, communication and guest support, this location could really shine."

The room and bed was small, did not provide enough space for our luggage (only 3 suitcases) and the kitchenette was not equipped with any cookware, coffee maker, nor dishes. The location also was way out of Ashland and inconvenient for visiting folks in the town of Ashland. This place was not what we expected from the description on Expedia."

"During my one-week stay I had several problems with my key access to my room. I paid ahead of time for the full week my room access card would not work on at least 5 occasions. Each time I had to go to the office to have my keycard "fixed", and had to wait in line behind other guests who were signing in to even talk to the counter person. The Motel seems to be understaffed.
