"I took a birthday trip and everything was wonderful"

"I would recommend Hyatt House Tampa Downtown to anyone traveling to Tampa, FL. The staff was professional and very quick to resolve an issue I had with room cleaning on my second day. When I reported it to the front desk, they apologized right away and had housekeeping fix it immediately. The room was cleaned quickly and thoroughly. Special thanks to Vicmarie (Vickey) Santos and Yamilet Rivera for their excellent service and attention to detail."

"The most coziest property. I was there with some girlfriends for the BTS Arirang concert. We felt safe and the best part was the Pete’s Bagel downstairs! The host was very responsive to messages and the whole process of check in was smooth. Everything was clean and the property was wonderfully decorated. Also, loved the free roaming chickens and roosters in the area. 10/10, no notes. "

"Great location next to great restaurants and bars. Clean and large room. Wonderful shower. The free excellent coffee in the lobby was awesome as the other hotels I stayed in on this trip charged for overpriced mediocre coffee. The breakfast was excellent and the staff throughout the hotel were knowledgeable and pleasant."

"I was charged for $45/night for VIP parking, and I have the receipts and the stubs, yet I still received two $55 parking tickets from the lot management. I will not be revisiting this property."

"I thought the room itself was a little rough and beat up for the prices they are charging. The furniture was rough, and when we checked in the room had not been cleaned. There was a film of dust on all furniture. The bathroom vent had legit dust pile and layer it was pretty gross. The pool is not connected to the hotel. And essentially anyone could just walk in off the street. No key card access like most hotels. The pool was bombarded by teenagers who were not staying at the hotel. First there...

"It was a nice room. The ceiling and the rug needs updating but overall a great stay. ‘The Dan’ restaurant had the most AMAZING BRUNCH. The biscuits and gravy were so wonderful I had to meet the chef! What an amazing way to end our trip. I w en took some home!"

"Convenience"

"There was some damage on the ceilings. The hotel is working to repair/ update things that need updated. The rooms are just ok- clean enough in the rooms. Common areas, elevators, pool all need to be cleaned a little better. All hotels need to stop adding the annoying “resort fee/service charge”. Just add the cost to the room. No one wants to be nickel and dimed when on a trip."

"The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. The room and common area were kept clean. In general, I had a comfortable and peaceful stay. The location was great for walking and taking public buses. However, there were stains and residues near the sink and shower room faucet, as well as on the floor of the bathrooms. The coffee machine was missing the filter tray so I could not make coffee one morning."
