"The property was in a location that was difficult to reach by public transportation due to the lack of sidewalks. The lobby was nice but the room needed updating and didn’t have any amenities except for mounted shower gel & hair products. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The staff was efficient and some people were very helpful."

"We stayed in a junior suite. Overall the room was lovely and the view over the beach was the best part. As we were in a suite a sofa would have been nice but there was one chair. The staff at Expedia were very good and answered every query efficiently so will definitely be using Expedia again. Also the hotel staff were very polite. The food area were very clean and had a sufficient variety of options every day although there was always a shortage of spoons and cups. Everyone was constantly asking the staff for more of these. Beach towels, you had to pay 2€ to change which was a surprise. There was no bar after 9pm and there was only 2 sofas by the bar to sit after you had eaten. We probably won't stay at this hotel again but overall we had a nice stay."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Stella Island. The resort is absolutely stunning and feels like a little piece of paradise. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing, and having the beautiful beach so close by made it even more special. The food was honestly the best - so much choice, everything was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious. We were genuinely impressed with the quality of the food throughout our stay. The staff were amazing - so kind, friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Overall, Stella Island is a truly beautiful place with fantastic food, wonderful staff and a gorgeous location. We would definitely love to come back!"

"We had a lovely week at the Abaton. All the staff were really friendly and helpful particularly when on departure I discovered I had left my straighteners in the room. The staff went above and beyond to locate them…which they did. We did half board which was really handy and the restaurants and food was amazing and in a beautiful setting. The hotel is in a great location and if you don’t fancy the pool there was plenty of beds on the beach. All in all a very restful week and the weather was gorgeous!"
Galaxy Hotel Iraklio

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but had few occasions with the dinner staff when they were very rude with us. They would not let us sit in the dining area as they had prepared the table for next morning and we didn’t want to sit outside. Even before we started eating or drinking they would come and ask us how would you pay which made us very uncomfortable. At one occasion the staff came to our room at 10:30 and knocked when clearly there was a Do not disturb sign hung on the door"
