"We weren't on vacation as we used to live in Bonita and went back to gather our stuff. La Quinta is good for a short stay. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was terrible, go eat breakfast at Franco's Flapjack or for a quick bite go to Donny's coffee shop Both are further down Bonita Rd. Unless you are visiting family or need to be in South Bay I wouldn't recommend staying in Bonita for vacation. The water is gross in the city of Bonita. The closest beach has issues with Tijuana sewage. It's in San Diego South Bay. If you're on a trip to San Diego this is 10 min away from the city but as a former local I'd recommend staying in San Diego proper unless you need to be in the dog forsaken town of Bonita. Bonita is a safe area but the biggest local attraction is the cemetery! As an SD native I don't recommend South Bay, unless you have family there or have to be there for some reason. Stay in SD proper. If you want a budget hotel I recommend staying in Hotel Circle in SD. If you're looking for luxury there are better options by the beach. I hated my time living in South Bay so much we moved out of state and we were SD locals. It's sad SD crime is so high post COVID. Northern NV is much nicer. San Diego is not as nice as it used to be. Crime is higher, the only redeeming quality Bonita has is that it's safe. San Diego city used to be a safe beautiful city before COVID. It always has had a problem with homelessness which is even worse now. There are tents all over SD county. "

"Friendly service!! Hot tub broken, pool was not heated and had debris floating on top of water. TV never did work! This place needs some major work done but the staff was very friendly. They can't help whoever owns this place does not keep it up!!!"

"Amazing property. We were thrilled with how clean everything was and how helpful the staff were. They also made me feel like I was an old friend. The room was elegant and way bigger than I expected. The breakfast was next level with custom ordering available and a wide selection of foods on the buffet. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. One of the best I have ever stayed at, is an understatement. Would recommend. 10/10."
