"If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong."

"Unfortunately, our experience did not match the photos or descriptions shown on the website. The room we were assigned looked significantly different from the online images and appeared to be in poor condition. Upon arrival, we found several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including what appeared to be pet waste embedded in the carpet (partially hidden by a chair), pet urine stains along the baseboards, and what appeared to be blood on a shelf in the bathroom. "Good location. Plenty to do. The hotel shouldn’t be the main event. Just an average place in a good walkable location."

"It was decently clean. It was a bit sandy under the bed springs but the rest of the room was fairly clean. The fridge and kitchenette was very useful and the room was spacious. We also had a second room booked. While it was fairly clean, the room smelled quite awful. I suspect the previous tenant had smoked marijuana. We were very satisfied with the location and the price for what we got."

"The front desk person, Kayla was OUTSTANDING. The cleaning staff was running a little behind schedule and Kayla was honest with us at check in, as we were 30 minutes early. Kayla was super helpful recommending places to eat. She was super positive when interacting with us and totally made us feel welcome. Great job Kayla, a real asset to their staff!"

"Decent room. No coffee maker, no hair dryer. Train went by at 1:30 am and woke me up. Person above me never stopped banging things and stomping back and forth... literally all evening and from 2:30am on. Will not stay here again. Disappointed."

"The guy at the front was really nice, helpful and clean. The rest of the experience was a 0 star. Absolutely filthy. Nothing was cleaned. The beds you can tell was not turned down. I wouldn’t stay here unless it was the last place on earth. Which unfortunately in the area that night it was. Never again"
