"Great resort although it is a bit tired. The bed was super comfy and the room a good size but the bathroom is dated. The clubhouse and restaurant is modern and well presented although during a torrential rainstorm the balcony roof leaked like a sieve. Staff were friendly enough although rule followers with no flexibility on how customer should work over their process. I would stay again. Pretty good value for money. The Chicken Fried Chicken dish in the restaurant is the best."

"We made our reservation before one of the most deadly flooding event in Texas history. The town was devastated. We only had 1 night reserved and after the flood, we contacted the Hotel to see if they would need us to cancel our reservation to allow for access by Emergency responders. They said it was ok so we kept it. "We went just before July 4. Lots of families with kids. Room was very nice. Enough to explore. Lazy river was great even though it closed on occasion with the weather (lightning). Food was great - just a little pricey. There are activities like kayaking and fishing but they will cost more to do.
