"The Moxy is very well located near to Cabot Circus and we found the staff helpful and friendly, the room clean and well equipped, and at a very reasonable price. We also tried some of the food which was tasty and a decent portion size. Great stay and would return again."

"Easy check in, good breakfast, easy and cheap to park. Only small point was the cleaning team ask that we keep towels, which we did, only for them to remove them on the second day and not replace with the same amount of towels for the people that were staying in the room."

"We stayed as a small family during the Easter holidays, mainly to use the pool and spa facilities, with the hotel’s proximity to Gloucester Docks (around 2.5 km) also a key reason for booking. Overall, the experience was mixed. On arrival, our room had issues—most notably the shower. The bath–shower mixer tap diverter didn’t work, and water pressure was extremely poor, to the point even a bath was just a trickle. "Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."
