"Ski in ski out location. Fantastic hotel with large rooms and indoor fire pit. Staff were extremely helpful. Having a vehicle is preferable to go to and from town but they do run a shuttle Service free of charge."

"My partner and I had the most amazing time at Ember Lodge in Hakuba! The staff were so welcoming and the service was incredible. Mike and Leo organised a pick-up and drop off service for us. Breakfast cooked and served to us each morning with an option for a cooked dinner as well which was delicious. The location was perfect too, only an 5-10min walk to the ski lifts. Already looking to book another trip here!"

"It was a great place to stay in Hakuba and I wish I could give a higher rating than a 5. It has easy access to all the ski resorts via either uber, taxi or their own shuttle. The staff was incredible and was the biggest perk of this visit we did not expect. All of our needs were met and the staff made it feel more like a home than just a place of stay. I think the experience that the staff brings makes it well worth the stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re looking for somewhere...

"We loved our stay here. Shuto and Yuya were excellent hosts. This place definitely gives off hostel/community vibes however you get the comfort of your own room. Convenient location. It’s hard to get around town if you don’t have a car but there are a few shuttles running throughout the day. "

"100% recommend! The staff are all super helpful. Breakfast and dinner are delicious! When we first arrived at Hakuba station, the hotel said they will arrange a pick up for us. The moment we stepped out of the station, the hotel staff was there waiting with a signage that made it easy for us to find. He was even willing to bring us to a nearby convenient store to buy stuff if needed, even though we didn't need to. At the hotel, we managed to get early check in which was great and allowed...

"The room was very large, the hotel overall was very new. Great balance between catering for children and adults. The restaurant was very modern and spacious with a great view of the forest. The dinner and breakfast had a great range of really good food. The onsen was modern and the view from the outside onsen of the forest was very relaxing. "
