"Checking in we were upgraded to novohotel, so really my review is based on our stay there. Reception staff friendly and helpful, room was large,v clean and v comfortable. Evening meal was in the resteraunt which was v comfortable, staff very professionel,and the food was great, a really good start to our holiday. Thank you . "

"The building works currently taking place in the hotel destroyed the experience as was woken up in the early hours of the morning to banging and drilling. No advance warning was given to guests which I thought was incredibly frustrating."

"Excellent stay with an extremely friendly check in with a lovely lady called Joy on reception. Room was very spacious and quiet with a modern, clean bathroom and great shower pressure. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of free parking, nice restaurants and bars nearby as well as shopping. Will definitely stay here again when flying from Birmingham Airport."

"Had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. The casino was well organized, with a lively atmosphere and plenty of entertainment. "My husband booked a room in the house for our stay, as I was going to see Take That in Coventry. Google maps takes you to the property using the postcode (our car's sat nav didn't). In the house, there are 10 rooms all with their own shower room. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was clean. The floor was very creaky and uneven and overall not horizontal, although it didn't really bother us. The shower doors were ok when they were shut, but one wasn't held in the lower track and needed...

"Good value for money. Near to the venue we were attending and to local pub for food. Both walking distance. I had messaged ahead to ask for a room near to lifts etc due to mobility issues but found the room to be a long walk away."

"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"The hotel has plenty to offer. The only downside was no Aircon on a particularly hot evening and the inability to open the windows wide enough to let any air in. There was a fan provided but it didn't have the power to make a difference. Otherwise a good venue."

"No parking at this property is an issue and paying for parking only adds to the cost. Rooms were a good size but the beds are small considering the space that there is. Quilts are great if the weather is cold but the room is warm and even with aircon on and set at 20 degrees we were hot. Ugly cumbersome mugs to drink a cup of tea from. Breakfast is average."
