"Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended."

"It was a clean place with very friendly staff. The only issue I had was the room that we stayed in smelled like somebody had smoked in it previously, but the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was good for the one night stay."

Offers free ice but really limited in the amount the machine can produce. There are no sidewalks leading anywhere to the motel, so remember to bring everything you’ll need as you’ll need a car to leave the property."

"I liked it was by the beach affordable and convenient. Property was sandy. Room floor wasn’t as clean as I would have wanted it to be. Found a spider on bed and a spider on restroom floor."

"We arrived at the hotel and was told it was canceled. We didn't receive an email or any notification of the cancelation. We had nowhere else to go. They scrambled to find us a room but the only room available didn't have AC. It's the middle of summer in Texas. They did give us a discount on the room with no AC but it smelled like mold & stuff & extremely hot."

"The building needs some work. The shower needed some maintenance done. The wall plugs were loose and when you tried to plug or unplug anything it was risky. The A/C worked pretty well you could not adjust the settings though. The beds were not too bad. Over all it was okay. The staff had no problem giving towels or anything like that."

"The hotel itself was great! The train coming through at all hours of the night multiple times was rough. The train woke us up so many times. The beds were very firm and the pillows were flat. The staff was amazing and helpful. The towels were always fresh when we got back from being out all day. I would come back if the train was not coming through at all hours."

"The AAA 4 diamond marketing probably sets the expectations a little too high. It's a little dated, the rooms are small given almost everyone there has kids, and they nickel and dime you on the attractions all but forcing you to buy the value pass."

"At first, when we walked in, we thought we were actually getting a Days Inn by Wyndham Resorts. To our dismay, we walked into a Super 8 Motel. Then we realized that we were on the second floor with no elevators available. When we got into our room, the AC was noisy, and there was a few dead crickets on the floor.
