"Castel Clara is a truly stunning hotel in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve visited. The scenery is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful and relaxing, and it was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful before and throughout our stay, arranging our shuttle, bike hire and restaurant reservations with ease. The food was excellent too – we enjoyed two fantastic meals and a superb breakfast.
Our only minor issue was the lack of air conditioning during a particularly hot spell. However, we completely understand and respect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, and it certainly didn’t detract from what was a fantastic stay.
We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend Castel Clara to anyone looking for a memorable stay on Belle-Île."
